Funeral services took place Oct. 17 at Monumental Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Gerald Dawkins. He passed away Oct. 10 at Palisades Medical Center. He was employed as a custodian at the Board of Education. He was the father of Rashon and Zakiyyah Plantyn; the grandfather of Adonis White; the brother of Carolyn Stevenson and Cheryl Dawkins, and is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Services arranged by the Watson Mortuary Service, Jersey City.
