Christopher Rinn, (left) director of the Emergency Medical Squad at Jersey City Medical Center, and Joseph F. Scott, President and CEO of LibertyHealth, receive a proclamation from Jersey City Mayor Jerremiah Healy at the hospital’s recent Gala. The EMS was honored for their contributions to the community, which have included working with the American Heart Association to give CPR classes at city middle schools, the use of such new technology as robotic CPR and the electronic STEMI system, and setting a new standard for response time.
