As of late, I've been reading how certain individuals are trying to raise questions regarding Mayor Stack's appointments. These malcontent people say that the appointments are politically motivated. I view these insinuations with complete disgust, to say the least. I think some people just want to stir the pot and make muddy the clear waters. I guess some people find it difficult accepting that Union City is finally on its way to becoming a better city, all thanks to the efforts of the Stacks.
Mayor Stack is the most honest and caring public servant I have seen in this county in a long time. From what I see, he and his wife, Katia, do nothing but work long hours for the betterment of our city. They are always there for us. When you have a problem or concern, all you need to do is give them a call and they are there to speak with you. Try that with any other local politician. Of course he is going to appoint Katia to the Housing Authority's all-volunteer Board of Commissioners. They trust and believe in each other. They have the same goal-Union City. You must surround yourself with the people who have the same beliefs as you. Fellow citizens, Katia Stack is donating her time-again donating.
Mayor Stack needs to keep appointing people who care. Caring is the bottom line. Yes, I support Mayor Brian P. Stack 100%. Why? I support him because he cares for Union City and its residents. People need to stop criticizing and start helping. Give us all a break and join the positive team-the team to make Union City First.
