The private Stevens Cooperative elementary school celebrated its long relationship with the Stevens Institute of Technology at a rededication ceremony on Monday.

Since its founding as a nursery program in 1949 by the Stevens Institute faculty, the school has been permitted to locate its nursery at on the institute's grounds. Currently, the nursery is located at 800 Castle Point Terrace. The school as a whole runs from pre-school through eighth grade, and has 190 students. The elementary and junior high school campus is at 301 Garden St.
