The Center Players have announced that auditions for their summer musical, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” will be held on May 31, June 1, and June 6 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center of Bayonne, 1050 Kennedy Boulevard. This summer’s production centers around a group of adolescents (played by adults), delving into the characters lives as they try to accomplish the goal of winning the bee, and the adults who guide them. This funny, smart, and clever musical won a Tony for Best Book. Those auditioning should be prepared to sing a Broadway show tune. The dates of the show are August 4, 6, and 7.
