Hoboken firefighters to be honored before Memorial Day Parade tonight

HOBOKEN -- Members of the Hoboken Fire Department and the volunteer Ambulance Corps will be honored tonight, Wednesday, at 5 p.m. in the City Council chambers in City Hall at 94 Washington St. All members of the public are invited to attend.

The ceremony will take place before the kickoff of the 114th annual Memorial Day Parade, the longest running Memorial Day Parade in New Jersey.

Sponsored by the Hoboken Historical Museum, the parade will commence at City Hall at 6:30 p.m. and end at the Elks club at 10th and Washington streets. -Stephen LaMarca
